Enjoy the Rodeo from the comfort of your own home!

This isn't a brazen plug for Howdy Do, although if you got an itch for a great country album, I know where you can scratch it.

Nope, it's a brazen plug for our live performance on KEXP's Audioasis. On Saturday, February 21 at 8pm, tune your radio to 90.3FM or direct your fancy computer to www.kexp.org.

Even though you won't be able to see us, I guarantee that you will be hearing a fully suited up Brent Amaker & the Rodeo. Dig these pictures (by Johnny Podhradsky, naturally) from some recent radio appearances.

This is London, Resonance FM (howdy Martyn!). Benny even sported the mask. That's commitment.

Here are a couple from WLUW in Chicago.

Do you see a white patch on the edge of Sugar's hat? Sugar's the guy on the left, in the front row. It's pretty subtle.

Anyway, that's a piece of toilet paper I quietly laid across his Stetson before Johnny snapped the photo. When I pointed it out to him, he was surprisingly pissed off. Like genuinely angry at my sophisticated joke.

And looking back, I understand why. You gotta respect the hat. You do. But you also gotta flip shit to your band mates. On the Howdy Do/Howdy Don't spectrum, fucking with Sugar's hat was a Howdy Maybe.

If listening to us on the radio leaves you with a powerful desire for the full-on Brent Amaker & the Rodeo experience, we've got you covered. We'll be at Neumos on Saturday, February 28th with the Dusty 45s and North Twin. More on that later!

Your pal,

Mason
