Goodbye La La, Hello Vegas.

I'm gonna make this quick cuz it's 9 AM here and we have to get on the road soon. Yesterday was another solid stop on the tour. We met more great people and saw some great music. This was our first time in Los Angeles, and as such I consider this a warm up show. If Los Angeles were a woman, you could say that last night we gave her a kiss on the cheek and a back rub. When we come back next time she won't know what hit her. Hell, I might even drop one in the pail.

The Redwood is a great spot in downtown L.A. The interior looks like a pirate ship. It reminds me of an old bar in Seattle called the Benbow Inn. The Benbow was shut down a few years back after the owner died. Apparently the Redwood has been around since the 1940's, but they just recently remodeled and turned it into a den for pirates. I dig it.

Here are a few pics and vids from our evening at the Redwood.

The Kimble County Killers.

Saying goodbye to new friends after the show.

Short and sweet. That's about right for a Wednesday. The next few days are gonna be crazy. Vegas tonight and then we hit Flagstaff and Durango. Look for a radio interview with yours truly on KDUR in Durango this Friday at 5:30 PM MST (that's 4:30 PM for our west coast friends). You can hear it on line at www.kdur.org. It'll be a half hour program complete with an interview and songs from our unreleased album "Please Stand By". Hope you can make time to give it a listen.

But for now, we're off to Vegas. Gotta get this show on the road.

Brent
